JAMMED SIGNAL: Holiday Open Jam & Artisan Market w/ Reishi Maylen! Join us at Harmony Hall for a festive event filled with live music, local artisans, and good vibes.
This is a stellar open jam event offering 3 hours of stage time and sonic freedom for you, our region’s passionate musical improvisers! The tap-on-tap-off approach to switching between musicians allows each jam to flow into the next in one continual evolving groove while the singers and rappers swap on and off to work their magic on the mic.
For this jam we are excited to have special guest performer Glenn Marais shining on the stage in preparation for his upcoming journey to Memphis for the International Blues Challenge. And with the Holiday Season in full swing, we are stoked to announce the addition of an Artisan Market to supply you and your friends and family some awesome handcrafted goodies to take home.
Each show is recorded with a state-of-the-art sound system by Kevin Ker, to be released free to the public following the event via Harmony Hall’s website (harmonymusichall.ca). This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a creative hub for musicians or all kinds to connect more broadly and share in the joy of collective music making.
