Harmony Hall, 14663 WOODBINE AVENUE, VANDORF, ON L0H 1G0, Vandorf, ON
Join us at Harmony Hall for a powerful night of live music as psychedelic/progressive jam-rock artist Reishi Maylen celebrates the April 22nd release of his debut album "Aquarian Bard" alongside special guest acts Daniel Walton and Stop Motion.
REISHI MAYLEN: Backed by a dynamic 4-piece jamband featuring @derose_73, @julian_rayfield, and @thespecialguestband, Reishi Maylen's performance brings to life a 22-song journey through groove-driven rock, extended jams, and timeless 60s/70s-inspired sounds. "Aquarian Bard" tells the story of transformation — from a politically jaded folk singer to a fully realized rock & roll bard — exploring themes of spiritual awakening, community, and the rise of “elemental consciousness” in a rapidly changing world.
DANIEL WALTON: Story telling, rich harmony, ethereal soundscapes, and improvisation are the elements that make each performance from guitarist/songwriter Daniel Walton unique and captivating. After a long run building a reputation as solo act, Walton converged his solo project into a full fledged psychedelic / progressive / jam band now known as The Dreamland Band. Along with being a band leader, Walton keeps busy slinging guitar with Hamilton based jam band Golden Feather, and most recently Crown Lands. Solo sets are few and far between for Daniel; but they are the foundation of his artistry and truly one of a kind.
STOP MOTION: An improvisational force fuelled by rock, funk, and blues. Expect a genre-bending set full of groove, movement, and spontaneous musical energy that keeps the crowd locked in from start to finish.
