Reishi Maylen

Jammed Signal Music & Events, Reishi Maylen's organizational arm, is on a mission to facilitate and support the local jam scene around southern Ontario and beyond. Currently, Jammed Signal is responsible for running Open Jams, primarily at Harmony Hall in Vandorf/Stouffville, Ontario (harmonymusichall.ca), and occasionally elsewhere in Toronto (i.e. Bar Cathedral), Peterborough (i.e. A Place of Remembering Sanctuary), Montreal (i.e. Le Milieu) and beyond. We are also organizing future concerts by jambands and conscious musical acts, curated with care.

The Jammed Signal brand was first established as Reishi Maylen's jamband radio show, a 2-3 hour weekly late-night program dedicated to showcasing regional and international jamband concert recordings on air at Trent Radio 92.7 CFFF FM in Peterborough, ON. While the show has since ended and the Jammed Signal name has evolved into a music events organization, we are planning for the program to return as a podcast, as well as growing into a music distributor and label more broadly, in alignment with the ongoing mission to facilitate and support the jam scene in Southern Ontario and beyond.
